It seems easy enough to get your deck stain from a big box retailer such as Home Depot or Lowe’s. So many people do it, and so you may try to decide for yourself what option is best. Many people find themselves asking if they should go with Cabot or Behr. The answer is neither, as both have been found to have long term issues. You may have premature wear, peeling, or damage if you go with one of these common and lesser brands.

What would you recommend for a board fence that we would like to stain solid white?

I like to know the best way to remove Behr Deckover product. It’s not a typical stain So far I’ve removed a great portion with a pressure washer but there is 40% remaining on the deck. Any recommendations?
