1.5 month old pressure treated deck.  Looking to stain and was wondering what the "best" recommendation would be.  Looks like i can't go wrong with TWP.  A couple questions:

1.  When looking at "big box" offerings, we liked the idea of a semi-solid stain.  If TWP is the way to go, do they offer a semi-solid stain? (from what i've seen it's semi-transparent only)

2.  What's the difference between the TWP 100 and 1500?

1. Only semi-solids in TWP.

2. VOC restrictions for certain states.

I recently built my deck with newly used pre-treated wood. I used Ready Seal - Mahogany on hopes it would be dark enough to match my other parts of the deck. I used first coat and waited 60 min for second and the color was darker than first coat but lighter after I wiped the excess oil.

I wonder if any one has added darker pigments in RS to get a darker color and if it is possible to apply a top sealer on top of ready seal?

You cannot top seal/coat a deck stain.
