CUTEK® Quickclean

CUTEK® Quickclean is the perfect way to regularly keep all your wood clean, and it prepares wood to optimize the performance of maintenance coats of CUTEK® Extreme.

It will easily remove dirt, grease and grime from your outside surfaces as well as even out CUTEK® Colortone that has started to wear or erode unevenly on your wood.

CUTEK® Quickclean is a concentrate that should be diluted with water. The dilution will vary depending on the build-up of dirt/grease on the surface.

Important Notes

CUTEK® Quickclean is designed for general cleaning and may not remove deep or stubborn stains. For restoring gray, weathered wood or removing tougher stains such as iron, water marks, tannins, resins, mold, or mildew, use CUTEK® Wood Reviver instead.

CUTEK® Quickclean will not remove paint or existing wood coatings. For stripping coatings, use CUTEK® Wood Stripper.

STEP 1: PREPARE

Before starting, determine if CUTEK® Quickclean is suitable for your specific application. Always test on a small area first, following the recommended dilution guidelines before mixing larger batches.

Because surfaces and conditions vary, testing will help you determine:

• The correct dilution ratio
• Working time
• Total product needed
• The most effective cleaning technique for your situation

Safety & Precautions

• Review all hazards and safety guidelines in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use
• Wear proper protective equipment
• Protect all surrounding surfaces and vegetation
• Be aware of wind drift when rinsing, especially near vehicles or pedestrian areas
• Pre-wet and rinse nearby areas (plants, concrete, asphalt, etc.) before and after application

How to Apply

Recommended Dilution & Coverage

Important:
CUTEK® Quickclean is a concentrated cleaner and must be diluted. Actual coverage and dilution may vary depending on the surface type and severity of buildup. Always test first to confirm effectiveness.

Application Steps

1. Dilute CUTEK® Quickclean with water as needed
2. Test your solution on a small area
3. Pre-wet the surface with water
4. Apply generously using:
   • Brush
   • Roller
   • Broom
   • Low-pressure garden sprayer
5. Allow the product to dwell for 5–15 minutes
6. For stubborn areas, lightly scrub with a stiff-bristle brush

Removal

• Rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning
• For best results, use a pressure washer (approx. 750 PSI / 50 bar) with a fan tip

Important Cautions:

• Avoid damaging wood fibers:
  • Do not use turbo/rotary nozzles
  • Adjust pressure and distance as needed

Best practice:

• Start at the highest point and work downward
• Use long, even strokes with the grain

Alternative:
If pressure washing is not practical, rinse with clean water using a hose or bucket while lightly scrubbing with a stiff brush.

Clean-Up

• Clean all equipment with water
• Dispose of wash water in accordance with local regulations
