Defy Stain Color Samples – Try Before You Buy

Each Defy sample contains approximately 1 oz. of stain, enough to test the color on a small section of your deck, fence, or wood siding before committing to a full-size order.

How the Defy Sample Program Works

• Select as many colors as you’d like. Check the boxes next to your desired Defy Stain colors, then click Add to Cart. Color swatches are displayed at the bottom of the page for easy comparison.

• $10 per sample for shipping. Each sample is charged $10 to cover shipping and handling.

• Get a sample credit toward your order! When you purchase a 5-gallon pail of stain from our site, you can apply up to $15 in credit per customer toward your order.

• Instructions for claiming your credit will be included with your samples.

Please note: Sample credits cannot be combined with any other promotional offers or discount codes.

How to Redeem Your Sample Credit

1. Place your 5-gallon pail order from our website.

2. During checkout, enter your sample order number in the Comment Area.

3. Your sample credit will be processed after your order is placed—typically the next business day.

4. The refund will be issued to your original payment method (credit card or PayPal) and usually posts within 3–8 business days.

Defy Stain Product Compatibility

• All 7 colors are available in Defy Extreme Wood Stain.

• Cedar Tone, Light Walnut, and Natural Pine are the same shades across:

  • Defy Essential

  • Defy Marine Stain

This makes color testing easy—no need to order duplicates across product lines for these three shades.
