i’m about to restore my deck and realize i bought the cleaner instead of the stripper. can i possibly make an exchange?
Hi Paul,
You would have to cover shipping costs both ways (that could cost you $25-35), and we would not be able to ship the Stripper until the Cleaner is returned. It may be easier to order the Stripper and keep the Cleaner for future maintenance, but that is up to you.
BTW, have we given you advice already on your stripping project? If not, you may want to upload some pictures in the comments to ensure you have the correct products for the stripping.
Thanks for getting back.
I don’t see any beading up on the deck so from what I’ve read, the cleaner should probably be fine. I’ll hold on to the added stripper boost and thickening gel I purchased for the next time.
I’ve watched a lot of your videos and why I bought all the products to strip (along with the additives) the brightener and semi-transparent stain. Unfortunately I made the mistake of getting the cleaner and not the stripper.

Is your wood previously coated? If so, you need to remove the current stain before switching to a different semi-transparent stain brand or color.
